Custom Questions Page
You can easily search for custom questions using an organisation or by searching a keyword.
Custom questions are organised into collections. A collection may hold any number of questions within it and be categorised to a relevant organisation.
Please Note: You will not be able to add a custom question collection to your intakes that don't relate to that intake's region. For example, a Sydney West Basketball Team Intake cannot add a Sydney East Basketball Question Collection.
Adding a Collection
It is quick and easy to create a collection using the "Add Collection" button. Categorise your collection to the relevant organisation relating to your intake. Your collection will open up and you will be able to use the "Add Question" button to start adding questions.
Question Field Types
Textbox
A textbox field is a short one line field that is ideally used for numerical or text entry up to one line long.
Dropdown
A dropdown field is an ideal field when there are multiple predetermined answers but only one is accepted. These are the same requirements for a radio button but may be preferable over a radio button if there are many predetermined answers.
Please note: You need to add the possible values on separate lines.
Checkbox
A checkbox field is an ideal field when there are multiple predetermined answers and one or more are accepted.
Radio
A radio button is very similar to a dropdown field. It is ideal when there are multiple predetermined answers and only one is accepted.
Text Area
A text area field is simply a larger textbox field. It is ideal when you requiring multiple lines (or more) of text from the user.
Media
A media field is used when you require the user to upload a file. This can be any major file type. This includes images, pdfs, docs and csv files.
Informational
The informational field is not technically a question but rather an opportunity for you to provide additional information for the user in the form of text. You can use the content field to type the content that will appear.
Custom questions are further customisable using additional settings and conditional field options.
Adding Custom Questions to an Intake
You need to be begin by creating a custom question step in an intake. You can include a custom question step anywhere in an intake workflow. Once you've set the "Group" field to "Page" and the "Step Type" to "Custom Questions" you will be able to select your custom question collection.
Once you have loaded your collection you will be able to remove individual questions from your collection should that be necessary.
Selecting allow multiple responses to these questions allows you to reuse these questions across intakes.

You can see a preview of your custom questions at the very bottom of the collection itself.
