You can find the "Roles & Positions" page on the side menu.
Role & Positions Page
You can easily search roles using organisation or by searching a keyword.
Adding a Role
It is quick and easy to create a role using the "Add Role" button. It is important to add relevant information and categorise the role correctly under organisation, division and sport etc.
Please Note: It is not very common that an admin user will be required to add a role. Please search first to see if the role has already been created. You may just wish to add a new tenure - see below.
You will need to first create custom questions to add to your role as applicant or school approver questions. Don't forget you can also create informational questions using custom questions and therefore use these collections to provide the applicant or principal with information regarding the role.
Adding a Tenure
To allow a role to be open to applicants you will need to create a tenure. A tenure is a determined time period which a teacher can hold a role. Tenures have no minimum or maximum limits but are generally anywhere between a few months and a year.
You can create a tenure by using the "Add Tenure" button on the right hand side once you've created the role.
Please note: The tenure role start date cannot be before the application close date. Teachers will be unable to search for your role unless it has a tenure with an open application.
Editing a role or a tenure can both be done by using the "Edit Role" or "Edit Tenure" buttons. You have the ability to change any of the criteria.
View Intake
You will be able to use the "View Intake" link to view the intake which is linked to your tenure. This allows the teachers to apply for the position. This is where you can use the export functionalities to review all the applications.
View Applications & Award Position
Once you have decided on one or more users to whom you would like to award the position you can select "View Applications & Award Position" next to the relevant tenure.
You can use the checkbox to select one or more users and then invite them using "Invite". They will be sent an email letting them know they have been invited and will ask them to confirm they would like to take up this position. Once they have confirmed, they will be shown in the grey box under "Current Role Holder(s)".
