If your school is competing in a knockout competition that has been created in Dash, you may be asked to provide the results for an individual match.
Typically, when a knockout competition exists in Dash, a convener or other relevant administrator will enter the results on behalf of schools. Functionality has now been added which allows schools/sports coordinators to enter the results themselves.
How to add results
Prior to the play by date for a competition (typically 14 days), an email will be sent to the main school address and designated sports coordinator's address, for both competing schools.
Please note: If you have not received an email, check your school account's notifications. You can trigger a self-login email to go to your school account here. Enter your school's email address, click "send self login", and check the school's front desk for a "Self-login" email from Dash.
This email will contain information about the upcoming match such as home team contact information, a link to the online draw, the play by date etc.
It will also contain a link for either competitor to "Submit results".
If the match has taken place, you can add the results yourself by clicking the "Submit results" link. Doing so will take you to the below screen, where you are asked to enter the relevant score and nominate a progresser:
Note: If a result has already been submitted you will not be able to add another.
After adding the match result and acknowledging the results are correct, click "Action" to finalise.
Once these results are added, a confirmation email is sent to both schools, sports coordinators and the competition administrator, who can override where necessary.
If you feel match results have been entered incorrectly, please contact the relevant convener/manager for the competition to have the results reviewed.
