As administrators, you may have the ability to edit the permissions of other admin accounts and control what data they have access to in Dash.
To do this, click "Users" and select the relevant account to bring up their user details.
Under "Roles" you can see what admin permissions a user has. From here you can either "Revoke" a user's current role or add a new one.
Adding an Admin Role
To give a user admin access to Dash, click "Add Admin Role". This will bring up the Admin Role modal where you are prompted to enter the relevant organisation, region and sport permissions for the role.
If we only wanted a user to have access to information surrounding Volleyball in North Sydney, we would select "Sydney North Schools Sports Association" for the organisation and "Volleyball" as the sport.
Further Control
Read-only Access
If you want a user to see admin related information but not be able to make any changes you can give them read-only access. To do this, check the "Read-only access" box when adding the permission.
Single Level Access
Administration roles work from the top down which means if you give a user access to one organisation, they also get access to all the sub-organisations that fall within that organisations umbrella.
For example, if we grant a user Combined High Schools level access, they will automatically be granted access to each sub-organisations or regions data.
If you want to prevent this, i.e only allow a CHS admin to access CHS related data, you will need to tick the "User has access to this organisation's resources only and not sub entities" box.
Specific Role Access
You also have the option to grant a user access to specific information in Dash, as opposed to allowing them access to all information relevant to their position.
For example, an organisation has hired a dedicated Merchandise Manager for the Hunter region, but we don't want to give them access to any data in Dash aside from Hunter related products. To do this, we would set the Organisation as "Hunter Schools Sports Association", leave "Sport" empty (meaning they have access to all sports) and under "Specific Role Access" we select "Product".
We can add or remove access to different components accordingly.
