If you want to limit the number of applications your intake can receive, you can do so by setting a maximum application limit.
To do this, first begin creating your intake.
Before finalising your intake, click "Show" below Advanced Options.
This will display a number of advanced option fields, including "Max Applications". In this field, enter the maximum number of applications this intake will allow, for example "150".
Once the intake receives 150 applications, it will close and prevent any future applications. Users attempting to apply after the max application limit has been reached will receive the following notice.
You can always increase this limit after creating your intake if you need to. To do so, navigate back to the intake, click "Edit Intake" and increase the limit accordingly.
Force Levy Quantity to Contribute to Application Count
If your intake contains a levy step, you also have the option have the levy quantity contribute to the total application count.
For example, if we have a "Registration Fee" levy of $30, and a user completing an application increases the levy quantity to three (i.e paying for three registrations), we can assume that the multiple registration fees mean multiple applicants so we use this data to update the application count.
To activate this feature, after adding the levy you'll see a settings button above "Remove". Clicking this opens the "Levy quantity contributes to application count" checkbox. Click this to activate.
