You will receive workflow items every time a student or teacher at your school applies for anything requiring school approval. This includes:
A student:
- Applying for a representative pathway
A teacher:
- Applying for a teacher role at your school
- Applying for a position
- Applying for a school based competition on behalf of the school
The principal of a school is required to approve or decline each of these workflow items.

On the dashboard you can find all the items requiring your approval under the settings dropdown.
Quick Approve
You may not need additional information about a certain workflow item to approve it. If that is the case you can easily approve this item by clicking "Quick Approve".
Action
If you require additional information regarding a certain workflow item or you wish to decline it, you will need to press the blue "Action" button next to the item. You will then be taken to the "Action Workflow" page.
To approve a workflow item you can select "Yes". To decline a workflow item you can select "No".
Once you have selected "Action" you will receive a confirmation saying that the workflow action has been completed.
Please Note: Your decision to approve or decline a workflow will immediately be sent to the student or teacher. Should you decide to decline a workflow, the user receives an email informing them they can speak to the school principal if they have any additional questions regarding your decision.
